This LED configuration creates a look-a-like light output profile as compared with a original halogen filament bulb for an accurate beam pattern. Fans work great to cool down any LED headlight bulbs, but our Perfect Fit is a unique blend of power and efficiency that does not require any active cooling fan. CAUTION

Some newer vehicles use a Canbus headlight system which means that the on-board computer monitors the draw from the headlights and will turn them off or cause the lights to flicker if they're not drawing enough power. Due to the efficiency of LED lights this series draws less power than factory bulbs. If your vehicle does have a Canbus control system these bulbs may not work properly for you without a decoder module (available here) The other option is to install a set of X9S series bulbs which have Canbus circuitry built into the bulb.
