Details to Note:
The 3156 and 3157 bulbs are physically the same dimensions but the 3156 only have one circuit where the 3157 have two - with two circuits they can be used for tail lights or signal flashers. As a general rule, a 3157 can be used in place of a 3156 and will function properly, but be aware, that bulbs 7440 and 7443 look very similar but have a wider base and will not work in place of the 3156/3157 bulbs.
3157 Switchback/Colour Changing Series
With this series of bulb, you can change the marker lights on the front of your truck to white while still keeping the amber signal to be legal. These high-power, Switchback LED bulbs, use true colour-changing technology so that the white goes out when the signal circuit comes on; unlike some other brands which use two seperate LEDs - one for each colour - and are not as bright as the Switchbacks. An amazing 630 lumens of output per bulb ensures that you'll be seen on the brightest of days. As with any LED bulb, an electronic signal flasher or extra resistor is required in the circuit.
Please note that normal 3157 bulbs do not work on the following vehicles as they are wired differently and will blow a fuse.
